We’ve all been there, haven’t we? Your volume’s really loud, so you try to turn it down. But it turns the ringer volume down instead of the media. Sigh. Why do you even NEED those buttons for the media volume

To silent my phone, for one thing

No, you don’t. Have you ever seen the Silent Switch? It’s just above the volume button. Here it is:set_ringer Flip it one way and your iPhone vibrates and is silenced. Flip it the other way, and the ringer goes back up to where it was before it was silenced. Sound good? I knew it would.

Get Started

Right, so, to get started, get your iPhone, and go to Settings. Tap Sound IMG_7747make sure the ringer volume is just right, then flip the Change With Buttons OFF.IMG_7748Done! Wasn’t that easy?
